Helps to assist to keeping the horse straight between the shafts of the sulk The Gaiting (or Side) Strap runs from the end of the shaft back to the front bar of the sulky.
It is used for horses who tend to swing their rear end out to the pole. Can be used on one or both sides, horse dependant.
As the horse swings it’s rear end out, it will come against the gaiting strap, the pressure of which will encourage the horse to straighten up.
