Gliders, also known as Guiders, are designed specifically for harness racing horses that are narrow through the chest. They provide an effective alternative to traditional bar spreaders by helping to keep the front legs wider during motion.
By encouraging a straighter stride, Gliders assist in reducing knee interference and improving overall movement and balance while racing.
Each unit features foam-covered loops that fit comfortably around the front legs, sitting securely at the elbow. The Gliders are then fastened to the sulky shafts, providing consistent support and positioning during work or racing.
