- Premium quality lintex-type poultice
- Industry-standard traditional Boric Acid / Tragacanth formula
- Active lngredients: Tragacanth 6g, Boric Acid 0.15g.
Instructions for use:
Dosage and administration
Thoroughly clean the area where the poultice will be applied before applying Decron Equine-Lintex Poultice Dressing. Cut the poultice to the desired size needed. Apply the poultice to the affected area with the plastic backing away from the skin. Hold in place with a bandage.
Hot wet poultice dressing
Place in a clean, shallow tray. Soak in boiled water that has cooled to 38°c/100°f until saturated. Gently squeeze out excess water.
Cold wet poultice dressing
Place in a clean, shallow tray. Soak in boiled water that has cooled completely, until saturated. For additional cooling, place poultice in its outer plastic bag in a refrigerator. Gently squeeze out excess water.
Dry dressing
Simply add the poultice and cover with bandage.
